Terms &Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF REPAIR
By submitting equipment to the Repairer for diagnostics or service, the Customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.
ASSESSMENT AND DIAGNOSTIC FEES A non-refundable bench fee applies to all equipment dropped off or sent in for diagnostic inspection. If the Customer approves the subsequent repair quote, this diagnostic fee will be credited entirely toward the final repair invoice total. If the Customer rejects the repair estimate, the diagnostic fee remains due, and the item will be returned unrepaired. All repair estimates provided are valid for fifteen (15) working days from the date of issue. An official Purchase Order (P.O.) or clear written approval must be received before diagnostics, repairs, or parts procurement commence.
PARTS, MODIFICATIONS, AND DELAYS Estimated repair completion dates are approximations only. The Repairer is not responsible for project delays caused by shipping hold-ups or backordered electronic components. The Repairer does not warrant issues resulting from previous unapproved user modifications, poorly executed DIY repairs, or unauthorised circuit alterations found inside the equipment.
DATA AND PRESET LOSS DISCLAIMER Electronic audio equipment, including digital mixers, synthesizers, and DSP interfaces, may require firmware updates or factory resets during testing and service. The Customer is solely responsible for backing up all internal data, system configurations, and custom user patches prior to service. The Repairer holds zero liability for lost data, lost files, or wiped presets.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND STUDIO DOWNTIME The Repairer is not liable under any circumstances for incidental, secondary, or consequential damages. This strictly includes, but is not limited to, lost venue profits, cancelled studio sessions, production delays, artist cancellation fees, or external gear rental costs incurred while equipment is undergoing service. Total liability for any claim is strictly capped at the exact dollar amount paid for the specific repair service.
SHIPPING, LOSS, AND DAMAGE IN TRANSIT Inbound Shipping: The Customer is entirely responsible for safely packing, insuring, and shipping equipment to the Repairer. The Repairer is not liable for any damage or loss that occurs before the item physically arrives at our workshop. Outbound Shipping: When returning gear via a courier or postal service, risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer the moment the package is handed over to the courier. Standard shipping does not include premium transit insurance. If the Customer wants the package insured for its full replacement value during return transit, they must request this in writing, and the insurance cost will be added to the final invoice. If the Customer declines transit insurance, they acknowledge that the Repairer will not compensate them for items lost, stolen, or destroyed by the third-party carrier.
REPAIR WARRANTY Workmanship and newly replaced electronic components are warranted for a period of 90 days from the date of collection or return delivery. This warranty strictly excludes faults caused by subsequent physical mistreatment, incorrect power supply connection, liquid ingress, moisture exposure, or overdriven audio signals.
STORAGE FEES AND ABANDONED GOODS,AND PAYMENT Repaired items must be collected and paid for in full within 30 days of the completion notification. Items left past this period will incur a storage fee of $10 per week. Equipment left unclaimed for over 90 days will be considered abandoned and may be sold or disposed of to recover outstanding diagnostic, repair, and storage costs, in compliance with state laws regarding uncollected goods. We accept Bank Transfer (EFT), Credit Card in person at our workshop, or Credit Card online via secure Square payment links. No equipment will be released or dispatched until all outstanding fees are paid in full and funds have cleared.
